Holiday Pastime...

The holidays, for me, are about spending time with family and friends, and eating A LOT of food...but this year, I've also included the activity of playing video games.  "Video games??" you say...well, not just any video game, but Dance Central, the most amazing video game I have ever seen in my entire life (that doesn't say much...the last serious run of video-game-playing was when Super Mario Brothers first hit the market back in 19...).  The game is basically one, giant, ridiculous dance party.  You can choose from a number of pop songs with choreography ranging from Warm-Up to Difficult;  pick the "Dance Battle" option and you can go head-to-head on some slick dance moves with your cousin Jimmy.  The most amazing part is that the Kinect for Xbox 360 allows you to control every aspect of the game just by using your body (sans controller).  I have never worked up such a sweat and had so much fun playing a video game.  And when you thought it couldn't get any better, the people a Microsoft were ingenious enough to include a little camera in the Kinect so as you're dancing and acting a fool, quick shots of you are taken and then displayed in the middle of each round.  Completely awesome!
